Thoughts.com to me is a kind of BSP (blog service provider), so I think their point is to make a good content aggregation, or just like MySpace, let each member have a great space.
Anyway, I think the content is the most important, and at the homepage, I think the editor should chose some excellent posts to take place “recent posts” spot. The “recent posts” spot may be should move blow. And I think homepage is too many words, maybe should add more pictures and videos.
As a SNS website, member is very important, and user experience is also very important. Thoughts.com has done a nice job, but to SNS giants, still a long way to go. How to attract members and keep them is every website facing problem. You should keep hungry and keep foolish. I wish them good luck.
